On Tuesday evening, in Redmond, Oregon, BJ passed away. To his wife and family - our deepest sympathy. We will remember the magnificent impact this gentle man made on us down here in the Gulf Coast. We will remember that generous heart, his great spirit, his impish smile and continue to hear that "gravel" voice. BJ will always remain in our hearts. We will finish those two homes he started a couple of weeks ago and they will stand as a testimony to his legacy.

William “B.J.” Joseph Fisher Jr., of Redmond, died Wednesday. He was 44.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at City Center Church in Redmond.

Mr. Fisher was born Jan. 9, 1963, in Glen-dora, Calif., theson of William Fisher and Elizabeth Gibney. He earned an associate degree from Clackamas Community College. He married Lori Schuchardt on June 3, 1989, in Portland.

Mr. Fisher was a contractor with B.J. Fisher Construction. He was a former volunteer fireman for the Redmond Fire Department and had served as chairman of the board of the Central Oregon Park and Recreation District. He was affiliated with City Center Church. He enjoyed men’s ministry, fishing, hunting and spending time with family.

Survivors include his wife; a son, William III; a daughter, Heidi; his parents, William and Sue Fisher and Elizabeth and Gary Gibney; a brother, Michael; and four sisters, Crista Scronce, Joanie Rogers, Heather Greene and Kristin Anderson.

Memorial contributions may be made to City Center Missions Ministry or an education fund for the children of B.J. Fisher at Bank of the Cascades.
